A San Francisco woman was arrested during a prostitution sting in Burlingame on Wednesday, police said.

Following several citizen complaints and information gathered by police investigators, Burlingame police conducted an undercover sting operation at the Crystal Wave Spa, a massage parlor located at 1205 Capuchino Ave. in Burlingame.

An undercover officer posing as a customer entered the massage parlor and requested a massage.

During the course of the massage, a female masseuse propositioned the officer to engage in a sexual act for money, according to police.

The female masseuse, identified as 48-year-old Shi Xiu Yang, was arrested for disorderly conduct, police said.

The detectives did not find any evidence of human trafficking at the establishment, according to police.

Yang was booked into custody and then released on her own recognizance pending a court appearance.
