<p>Green Hills received the California Distinguished School Award in 2006. It has a high academic performance index of 866 and a 3:1 student to computer ratio, both higher than the San Mateo County and California average. The state ranked Green Hills an 8 out of 10 for academics.</p>
<p>As of the 2006-2007 academic year, Green Hills spent $4,813 per student, almost half the district and state average.</p> <p>Teacher salaries were $72,920, slightly higher than the district average, but below the $79,583 state average.</p> <p>The school is 45 percent Asian, and 16 percent Latino.
