CALL Primrose Needs Your Help

It's almost time for Easter box distribution, but CALL Primrose is short a few boxes.

The Easter Bunny will soon be hopping into town, and with his arrival comes a need for volunteers at , a Burlingame-based nonprofit serving North Peninsula residents in need.

CALL Primrose reported on its Facebook page Tuesday that it still needed 75 Easter boxes for its Fill-a-Box, Feed-a-Family spring holiday drive. CALL Primrose runs the program around different holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Here’s how it works: Volunteers fill a sturdy box (about the size of a box copy paper comes in) with non-perishable food items and a $20 grocery card clients can use in their holiday meal preparation. They then drop it off at CALL Primrose. Staff then passes along the boxes to low-income families.
