A Millbrae man took second place in a prestigious Memorial Day weekend drag race.
Brian Leasure was the runner up out of a field of 65 at the Summit Pro ET Class Drag Race at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma on May 27.
Leasure clocked a .11-second reaction time (the time it takes to get off the starting line after the starting light turns green) and got down the quarter-mile drag strip in 10.074 seconds.
His red 1964 Chevy Nova was clocked at 132.02 mph.
Leasure finished behind local favorite Jessica Opperman of Napa, who's nicknamed "The Camaro Girl."
