Millbrae Giants Fans Line Up for World Series Trophy

The trophy was on display at the Millbrae Library.

A few hundred people lined up in the Millbrae Library today to admire the San Francisco Giants 2010 World Series Trophy.

The trophy was on display from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., and fans waited about 20 to 30 minutes in line to have their picture taken with it.

The event kicks off the annual Summer Reading Program for kids and teens. Younger children in first through sixth grades who finish the program, which involves reading 15 minutes per day, will automatically be entered to win Giants tickets and an autographed baseball.
