CSM Baseball: Grazzini, Terry, Might be Giants
Bulldogs pitchers selected by the San Francisco Giants in late rounds of this week's amateur draft. Both will weigh signing options against Division I college commitments.
College of San Mateo pitchers Daniel Grazzini and Clint Terry were selected by the San Francisco Giants Wednesday on Day 3 of this week's amateur draft.
Both went in the late rounds and will weigh their signing options against Division I college commitments that will offer them a chance to boost their draft status.
Grazzini, a right-hander, was picked in the 35th round, and the left-handed Terry in the 36th.

Grazzini was 3-0 with a 1.08 ERA and one save in limited work (16 2/3 innings, all in relief). He struck out 17 batters and allowed 12 hits and three walks.
Terry was 7-2 with a 1.21 ERA in 12 appearances (all starts). He struck out 56 batters and allowed 49 hits and 24 walks in 74 2/3 innings.

Grazzini and Terry have commitments to UC Davis and Lee (Cleveland, Tenn.).
The signing deadline for amateur draftees is July 13.
