Millbrae Schools Walk-A-Thon is Approaching at Break-Neck Speed

The Millbrae Education Foundation will use the money raised to support education programs in the district's five schools.

When you see a sea of blue shirts on Friday, April 12 you’ll know you are close to a Millbrae school where students are participating in the Millbrae Education Foundation’s Fifth Annual Walk-a-thon.

The organizers are hoping to raise money to support education programs in the district.

In a message on the MEF website, foundation president Karen Bettucchi says, “Our goal for the walk-a-thon this year is truly to see every student in  the district participate and reach out to their families, neighbors, and friends to support our schools here in Millbrae.  We would like to raise at least $70,000 collectively from the walk-a-thon...or more!”
