Parca Parent Networking - Denise Pollard of Bay Area Achievement School (BAAS)

Denise Pollard, MA, BCBA and Founder and Executive Director of the Center for Learning and Austism Support Services (CLASS) and Bay Area Achievement School (BAAS)

Ms. Pollard will  be discussing how to assess a non-public school by looking at curriculum, services provided (OT, SPeec, BCBA etc), staff qualifications, staff experience and the student served.  She will discuss specifically how the Bay Area Achievement School (BAAS)  meets these high standards.

BAAS is a state certified non-public agency who specializes in Applied Behavior Analysis with  school's focus on state standards and core academics for children in grades kindergarten through sixth grade.  BAAS utilizes but is not limited to:  Direct instruction, Discrete Trail Training (DTT), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Natural Environment T raining (NET) all of which make it unique amongst other private or non-pubic schools in this region of the Bay Area.
