Mills High Interact Club Presents Check for Over $3000 for Japan Relief

The Mills High School Interact Club, sponsored by the Rotary Club of
Millbrae, issued $1500 matching challenge to raise money for Japan’s Earthquake and Tsunami Relief to all of the Mills High School Clubs. The Japanese Club stepped up to the plate by exceeding the challenge by a few hundred dollars. A check presentation will be made to Rotary’s Governor of District 5150 for over $3000 to the Rotary District 5150 Foundation, specified for Japan’s Earthquake and Tsunami Relief. Greater than 100% of the funds donated will benefit relief efforts! Rotary District 5150 will utilize this donation and other donations made to the fund to create international service projects targeted at benefiting the long term recovery efforts of the Japanese people through matching grants from Rotary International.
