Intro to Fencing Class

Come join the Millbrae Community Center, in partnership with the Barrett Community Center in Belmont, for an exciting month with the foil. In this fencing class, you will receive an introduction to the art of fencing. Every class will include warm-ups, footwork, attacks and fundamentals of defensive actions and bouting with a partner. This is a fun class while also teaching the basic strategy of foil fencing for a beginner, as well as a wonderful exposure to the modern art of fencing. Upon the completion of this course, students may join the SFFC championship program.

This class is open to children ages 7 - 14. There is a mandatory $20 glove fee to purchase and keep the glove. For more information please call the Millbrae Community Center or visit the website.
