Millbrae Students of the Year Honored by Millbrae Rotarians

Annual student recognitions one of Millbrae Rotary Youth Programs

On April 25, five students from Millbrae were presented with Student of the Year awards at a Green Hills Country Club luncheon hosted by the Rotary Club of Millbrae. The students were honored for their scholarship achievements and for exemplifying the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self” for thinking of and helping the students and teachers around them.

Parents, principals and teachers witnessed the recognition ceremony and heard laudatory remarks from Linda Luna, Millbrae Superintendent of Schools.  Deirdri Gladwin, Millbrae Rotary Club Youth Projects Coordinator, presented certificates to: Ava Daniel (Taylor Middle School), Victoria Lam (Spring Valley), Bridget Price (Meadows), Marian Revelo (Lomita Park), and Mark Yoo (Green Hills).  Previous years honorees have included students from Saint Dunstans’ Catholic School and Mills High School.
