VP Debate: Where to Watch

Find out where to watch the Vice Presidential debate near Millbrae and beyond.

Millbrae and other Peninsula residents in both Republican and Democratic parties are throwing Vice Presidential debate watch parties Thursday.

The San Mateo County Republican Party, which has its headquarters in Burlingame, is promoting a watch party at the Dutch Goose in Menlo Park hosted by State Assembly candidate George Yang.

The event begins at 5 p.m. with the debate starting at 6 p.m. Admission is $30 and $25 for young Republicans and includes a drink (beer, wine or soda).

The Dutch Goose is located at 3567 Alameda De Las Pulgas in Menlo Park.

The San Mateo County Democratic Party is holding an event of its own.  The group is hosting a watch party at its headquarters at 650 El Camino Real in Belmont beginning at 6 p.m.

The Democratic Volunteer Center is also hosting a viewing party at its location in 350 El Camino Real in Menlo Park.

Once again, the Burlingame Public Library is holding a non-partisan viewing party in the Lane Community Room.
