Summer Camp Preview This Weekend Will Showcase Millbrae Rec Department Offerings

The Millbrae Recreation Department is hosting an open house this weekend to give kids and parents a chance to sample summer camp offerings for Millbrae kids.

The open house will take place at the Millbrae Recreation Center, 477 Lincoln Circle, Saturday, April 13 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The Millbrae Recreation Department is offering a wide variety of enrichment camps and traditional day camps this summer, including full day and half-day camps.

Only want to your child to attend three days a week? No problem, you can do that. Want to have the option to go on the feature trip? No problem, you can do that too. Need morning or afternoon extended care? No biggie. You can do that also. We have something for your child from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Enrichment camps? Yes! We are offering 18 different enrichment camps. Here are the possibilities: Mad Science, Sports Camps, Awesome Engineering, Carpentry, Lego Engineering, Soccer, Communication Academy, Creative Writing, East Asia & Six Skills Summer Schools, Magic, Skateboarding, Animation, Drawing, Chess, Tennis, Science & Technology (STEM) and Kindergarten Prep.

Now for the fun. Want to do a morning enrichment camp followed by a half-day traditional camp? No problem. How about extended care, morning enrichment and traditional day camp followed by tennis camp. No sweat. All day tradition camp? Of course. We have something for your child from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.

How many weeks of camp are being offered? Most agencies offer eight to nine weeks of camp. Not Millbrae. We offer 11 weeks of camp starting June 10 and ending Aug. 23.
