Phil Ting Elected to State Assembly District 19

At 11:30 p.m. Tuesday all precincts had reported.

On Tuesday, some South San Francisco voters will choose which candidate will take the helm of state assembly district 19, which covers part of Westborough and Sunshine Gardens neighborhoods.

The newly drawn district 19 also covers Colma, Daly City and part of San Francisco. 

Vying for election are two Democrats: Michael Breyer, a small businessman and entrepreneur; and Phil Ting, the current Assessor-Recorder for the City and County of San Francisco.

Patch will update the votes every half hour starting at 8:05 p.m. when San Mateo County releases the votes.
