Parents Express Anger, Frustration at South San Francisco School Board Meeting

"We have a right to know when there's an active predator in our community."

Concerned by recent reports of prowlers in and around South San Francisco schools, local parents reached out Thursday night to the school board for assurances that more would be done to protect the safety of their children.

In a recent incident, police are looking for a naked man who allegedly walked in a girls' locker room Monday, January 13 at South San Francisco High School.

“We have a right to know when our children are in danger. We have a right to know when there’s an active predator in our community,” a parent told the board according to cbslocal.com.

Some parents asked for the immediate installation of surveillance cameras at the high school. “Cameras can tell you a lot where your eyes aren’t,” said a parent according to the report.

School board members told the tv station that some changes have been made, and promised to continue discussion of the subject.
