No Plans Yet For Millbrae Fire Station Slated for Closure

The success of the pilot program being discussed will be the first determining factor.

According to Deputy Chief Dave Downing the success or failure of the pilot program currently under discussion has to be determined before the building’s fate is decided.

There have been suggestions by some city council members that the building be used as a revenue generator during the pilot program.

If the pilot program is deemed successful then it will be up to the mayor and the city council to decide what will happen to the building.
