Millbrae's Sister City Honored in San Francisco
A group of Maltese people, many from Millbrae, were honored at San Francisco City Hall.
On Sept 21 a group of Maltese citizens, mostly from Millbrae were the guests of the Mayor of San Francisco. Wednesday marked the 47th anniversary of Malta's Independence Day.
Millbrae's sister city is Mosta, Malta.
The flag of the Republic of Malta was raised from the balcony of Mayor Edwin Lee at City Hall, and it flew all day untill 5:00 p.m. to commemorate the day.
