Mayor to be Principal for a Day

Officials throughout the county will sit behind the principal's desk for today.

Local community leaders will serve as principals at various Millbrae schools today, as part of a San Mateo County Office of Education program. 

Mayor Marge Colapietro will be principal of and Lt. Ed Barberini of the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office will oversee . For a full list see below.

The annual county event called “Principal for a Day” gives local officials the opportunity to learn about the challenges principals face. Participants will meet with the full-time principal, school staff, parents, students and attend classes.
