He will lead a mass May 9 at St. Dunstan's.

The sister cities relationship between Millbrae and Mosta, Malta will be evidenced this Thursday when Archbishop Paul Cremona arrives to visit with city officials.

The Archbishop will arrive at San Francisco International Airport in the afternoon, greeted by Sister Cities Commission Chairwoman Doris Morse and commission members Judith Mammon, Rose Agius, and Aline Lee.  The group plans to bring Maltese flags to wave as the Archbishop enters the terminal.

According to the Millbrae commission's website, the relationship between Millbrae and Mosta was formalized in April 1996 when Councilmember Doris Morse led a Millbrae delegation to Mosta for the official ceremonies.

The website goes on to say that there is presently a pen-pal program between children in both cities who are discovering the similarities and differences with their counterparts and possibly forming long-term friendships.

Following his American visit, Cremona will move on to Honduras, then Cuba, before returning to Malta.
