On Friday at 10 a.m., Assemblymember Jerry Hill and representatives from Seniors Against Fraud (SAIF), will present the annual senior fraud prevention workshop at .
Over the past year, Millbrae police have gotten reports from residents who received calls from people pretending to be relatives abroad and asking for money to be sent to them.
The free workshop will teach seniors how to protect themselves against scam artists who commit investment and telemarketing fraud crimes. Participants of all ages are welcome.
