Police Seek Witnesses To Sunday Night Fatal Accident
A man was crossing El Camino Real at Millwood Drive about 5:30 p.m. when he was hit by a black Nissan SUV heading north. He later died at a hospital.
Police are asking for the public's help in the investigation of an 82-year-old San Francisco man who was hit Sunday evening by an SUV and killed while walking in Millbrae.
According to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office, the man was crossing El Camino Real at Millwood Drive at 5:37 p.m. when he was hit by a black Nissan SUV heading north in the left lane of El Camino Real.
The man was taken to a hospital but died from his injuries.
The northbound lanes of El Camino Real were shut down as the sheriff's office investigated the collision.
The driver stopped and cooperated with the investigation, the sheriff's office said.
The man's name has not been released pending notification of his family.
