Police Blotter: Teen Involved in Hit and Run with Stolen Car

The following arrest information was supplied by the Millbrae Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Aug. 27

1:05 p.m., Caltrain: Police received a complaint about a taxi driver who has been urinating into a cup and either emptying the cup in the bushes near Caltran or dumps the urine under the taxi if it’s dark out.

6:57 p.m., Crystal Springs Road and Cunningham Way: A K-9 showed interest on the inside of a vehicle detained by officers. Police searched the interior of the vehicle and found two straws probably used for the consumption of drugs. A subsequent search by officers yielded a handgun in the backseat.

Sunday, Aug. 28

1:02 p.m., 500 block of Richmond Drive: Officers responded to a report of a hit and run. The suspect vehicle was located in the area and the driver was 16 years old. The driver admitted to stealing the vehicle. He hit at least four cars and a garage. He was arrested and later released to his father.

5:56 a.m., 1300 block of El Camino Real: When a clerk at La Quinta went to open the front door, a subject sitting in the lobby reached over the counter and took the clerk’s laptop. Estimated value: $700. The suspect fled on foot.

9:09 p.m., 1200 block of Roble Road: Sometime over the weekend, unknown suspects entered the rear door of a utility truck and stole approximately $3,000 worth of tools. Pry marks were seen on the rear door.

 

Monday, Aug. 29

9:11 a.m., 1100 block of El Camino Real: A motorist was assaulted after being involved in a non-injury accident. Racial slurs were yelled and a hate crime enhancement will be pursued against the suspect.

9:53 a.m., 100 block of Park Boulevard: A building on Park Boulevard was burglarized sometime between Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and Aug. 29. Entry was most likely via one of two old sliding glass windows on the east and west sides, which were not locked. Nothing of value appears to have been taken, but the building was badly ransacked and multiple safes, doors and other items were damaged or made unusable. No suspects have been identified.
