Police Blotter: Stolen Wedding Rings

The following information was supplied by the Millbrae Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Sept. 23

2:04p.m. 1000 block of Sycamore Drive. A woman reported a stolen wedding ring set. The victim alleged that the theft occurred in a vacant residence under her ownership, possibly when family members held a garage sale there. She was not present at the time the theft may have occurred.

4:35p.m. 1 Library Avenue. Persons who found two Playstation video game console guitars in bushes near the library flagged down on-patrol police to hand over the found items. 

Saturday, Sept. 24

9:18a.m. 1200 block of Vista Grande. An abandoned vehicle was located and towed from the area.

2:16p.m. 100 block of Spruce Street. A dumping complaint was filed against a resident in the area. When contacted by police, the resident said that the items were on the sidewalk curb for donation pick-up. The resident was advised to keep such items on the home's driveway.

11:36p.m. 100 block Sequoia Avenue. A large house party was advised by police to keep the noise level down. 

Sunday, Sept. 25

12:50p.m. Broadway Avenue and Center Street. A man contacted on a routine traffic stop was found to have a warrant out for his arrest. The subject was taken to San Mateo County jail.

5:41p.m. Mateo Avenue. A juvenile was contacted by police about the municipal code violation of firing a BB-gun, and the boy was held by police and released to his father. 

Monday, Sept. 26

7:13a.m. 110 El Camino Real. A resident reported sighting an unknown male sleeping in a stairwell to the back of a residential building.
