Police Blotter: Nude Hotel Guest and Counterfeit Money Scam

The following information was supplied by the Millbrae Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Nov. 4

8:37 a.m. 900 El Camino Real. Three people on parole went to the South San Francisco Orchard Supply Hardware and purchased items with a fake $100 bill. 30 minutes later, they attempted to return those items for cash back at the Millbrae OSH. All three suspects were arrested and a subsequent search of their property revealed they have been purchasing items with fake $100 throughout the Bay Area.

7:02 p.m. East Millbrae Ave and Rollins Rd. A man was arrested for a DUI and possession of methamphetamine. There was also a $7,500 arrest warrant out on him.

Saturday, Nov. 5

2:13 a.m. 1671 El Camino Real. A man wearing a white hoodie attempted a burglary at the Asian Pearl restaurant. Nothing was missing, but there was damage to the rear door.

 

Sunday, Nov. 6

6:47 a.m. 250 El Camino Real. A man was walking around the Fairfield Inn naked. When officers tried to talk to him, he began biting himself and ripped off a few pieces of skin. He became combative and officers restrained him. He was transported to Mills-Peninsula hospital.

 

Monday, Nov. 7

3:49 p.m. Dumont Court. A person was defrauded out of $11,000 from a company based in Southern California. The person’s bank (Wells Fargo) is investigating the case.

6:30 p.m. 1 Rollins Rd. A man was approached by an old business partner who threatened him with a knife. Man refused to press charges.

 

Tuesday, Nov. 8 

1:41 p.m. Civic Center Lane. Five young males walked into a salon asking to have their penises tanned and then ran out.
