Police Blotter: Industrial Drill Stolen

A run-down of police activity and crime in Millbrae.

Friday, July 22 

6:54p.m., Luckys Supermarket at 45 Murchison Drive. A male subject was allegedly seen placing items from Luckys into a shopping bag without purchasing them. Staff confronted the man who then left the items and exited the store. 

12:55a.m., 100 block of El Camino Real. Three unknown subjects were reported to police for allegedly banging on a resident's vehicle window.

Saturday, July 23 

10:12a.m., 1100 block of Lake Street. A resident reported damage to his vehicle due to a suspect known to throw eggs at homes and cars in the area. The man's car sustained minor damage to the front left fender due to an "egging" that occurred overnight.

10:37a.m., 200 block of Barclay Avenue. A woman reported her husband missing. She had not seen him since the morning prior when the two had a verbal arguement over personal issues. 

4:51p.m., 100 block of Del Centro. An auto burglary was reported. The burglary took place in front of the car owner's residence. An unknown suspect stole an industrial drill from the truck and also damaged a door lock and the vehicle ignition. 

8:21p.m., Chadbourne and Palm avenues. A transient was reportedly found sleeping on the sidewalk. 

Sunday, July 24

5:31p.m., 300 block of Pine Street. Two subjects reportedly engaged in a pushing match which escalated into a physical fight. An onlooker stopped the altercation and both subjects left the scene by vehicle. 

8:28p.m., 600 block Hillcrest Boulevard. A resident reported that she had found her son unconscious, and suspected he had attempted to commit suicide. The male subject was found in his room with three empty bottles of medication. According to the male subject's mother, he had attempted suicide in the past.   

Monday, July 25 

7:53a.m., Rollins Road. Police responded to a report that a transient was sleeping near outside of a business in the area. When officers arrived they located an empty sleeping bag but not the alleged subject.
