Police Blotter: Home Burglars Take $75k in Jewelry

Thursday, Nov. 10
3:31 p.m. 400 El Camino Real. Police warned “Chilangomex”, a Mexican food truck that it did not have a proper business permit to operate in Millbrae, and was warned to obtain one.

Friday, Nov. 11
2:17 p.m. El Bonito Way. The home owner left at 1 p.m. and returned at 2:30 p.m. to find his house burglarized. The suspects kicked in the door, and took about $75,000 in high-end and antique jewelry.

6:08 p.m. 100 block of Magnolia Ave. Burglars entered a home through an unlocked sliding door, and took a TV, jewelry, watches and a laptop computer.
Saturday Nov. 12
1:07 p.m. 900 block of Palmito Dr. People forcibly entered a home that is under construction and took a flat panel TV, a playstation, 20 DVD’s and a desktop computer.
Sunday, Nov. 13
11:06 a.m. 1000 block of Lake St. A woman reported $200,000 stolen from her savings account. The funds were taken by a bank several counties away. The police is investigating the case with the bank.
