Police Blotter: Copper Wire Stolen from City

The following information was supplied by the Millbrae Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Oct. 14

8:53 a.m., 400 E. Millbrae Ave. About 100 feet of copper wire was discovered stolen from a storage locker at the Millbrae Corp Yard. Police checked the homeless encampment near the overpass, but do not have any leads.

Saturday, Oct 15. 

5:53 p.m. 525 El Camino Real. A person allegedly stole DVD’s from Safeway. The person lied about age and name when questioned by police. Police determined the person had a warrant out, but the subject was cleared of stealing the DVD’s.

Monday, Oct 17. 

11:21 a.m. 400 block of Skyline Blvd. An off-duty Los Altos police officer reported a Middle Eastern man on a bike taking pictures of a water tank near the Sawyer Camp Recreation Trail.

8:29 p.m., 10 Magnolia Ave. A woman was arrested when police found two marijuana plants in her apartment. She said the plants belonged to her son, but he denied it  and said he does not live in the apartment, even though he is on the lease.
