Jan. 14-Jan. 17

Friday, Jan. 14:

1:35 p.m., 400 block of Lincoln Circle: Police received a report that a woman was verbally abusive to her child. Police are working with Child Protective Services.

2:53 p.m., South Ashton Avenue and Lake Street: A man was arrested for annoying a child. He was booked into county jail.

5:31 p.m., El Camino Real and Millbrae Avenue: A woman said that a man followed her from BART and asked to see her “tattoos.” Police made contact with the man, who said he thought the woman was his ex-girlfriend.

9:21p.m., Broadway and Ludeman Lane: A bicyclist ran a stop sign. Police noticed that the man was showing signs of intoxication. He admitted to using meth two days ago.

Saturday, Jan. 15:

11:55 a.m., 1100 block of Millbrae Avenue: A transient walking up to the top of a hill got tired and took a rest.

7:44 p.m., 500 block of El Camino Real: The manager at Safeway reported that two juveniles stole $20 worth of beer. Witness statements about suspect description and direction of travel were inconsistent. The manager decided not to file a police report.

Sunday, Jan. 16:

12:45 p.m., 500 block of Lomita Avenue: A man sought help from police because his mom was locked in a building.

7:45 p.m. 400 block of Millbrae Avenue: Three juveniles jumped a fence to get into a skate park. The juveniles were skateboarding without protective gear. The boards were confiscated and will be held for three months.

Monday, Jan. 17:

12:22 p.m., Corte Balboa: Police responded to a report of a restraining order violation. A man may have hit his child, so Child Protective Services was notified of the incident.

5:42p.m., 1200 block of El Camino Real: A suspect torched and drilled a lock to gain access to a vending machine located in a carport. Loss is approximately $700, including money stolen from the machine and damage.
