National Night Out Comes to Millbrae

This is the first year Millbrae will participate in National Night Out.

Tuesday marks the 29th annual National Night Out, but only the first year Millbrae residents will participate in the crime and drug prevention awareness event.

From 3 p.m. until 8 p.m., Millbrae residents are encouraged to switch on their outdoor lights, lock their doors and spend the evening at the Millbrae Square Parking Lot at Magnolia Avenue and Library Avenue.

The event, locally sponsored by the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Activities League, features music, sports, snacks, crafts, face painting and bounce houses.
