Millbrae Police Log: Shoplifters Arrested, Drunk Guy Detained and Two Vehicles Stolen

2:13 a.m.: A car was burglarized in the vicinity of Lansdale and Palm Avenues.  Responding deputies opened an investigation.

4:01 a.m.: Deputies opened an investigation into the theft of a vehicle that occurred on the 1300 block of Vista Grande.

2:20 p.m.: Deputies arrested 29-year-old Nicole Cooks of El Sobrante and 23-year-old Jazmyn Jackson of Richmond fro shoplifting.

6:21 p.m.: Deputies opened an investigation into a hit-and-run traffic collision that occurred near Millbrae Avenue and El Camino Real.

8:52 p.m.: Deputies went to an address on El Camino Real to conduct a welfare check.   While there they found 25-year-old Jennifer Naify of San Bruno who had an arrest warrant issued  by the Santa Clara County Sheriff.  Naify was arrested.

10:25 p.m.: Deputies opened an investigation into the theft of a motorcycle on the 1100 block of Fernwood Drive.

7:25 a.m.: Deputies cited and released someone who was in possession of a controlled substance.

2:13 a.m.: Deputies were dispatched to the vicinity of Aviafor Avenue and Hillcrest Boulevard where a disturbance of some kind was reported.  Upon arrival the found and arrested 25-year-old Vincent Trujillo of South San Francisco who had an arrest warrant issued by the San Mateo County Sheriff.

Monday, April 15, 2013

3:11 a.m.: While conducting a welfare check on the 400 block of El Camino Real, deputies came in contact with 35-year-old Jeremy Jarvis of Novato who had an arrest warrant issued by the Santa Clara Police Department.  Jarvis was apprehended and booked into the county jail.

3:12 a.m.: While on routine patrol, deputies made a traffic stop near Millbrae and Magnolia Avenues.  The driver of the car was found to have a suspended license.  The driver was cited and released.

6:46 p.m.: Deputies detained a person on the 200 block of Taylor Boulevard.  The person was detained because deputies had determined the person was drunk. 

Editor’s Note:  Sometimes you might find items in the police log that seem humorous but please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
