Millbrae Police Log: Meth User Arrested for Shoplifting and a Stolen Car Recovered

4:15 p.m.: Deputies were able to recover a stolen vehicle in the vicinity of La Prenda and Del Centro avenues.

7:51 p.m.: Deputies were dispatched to Murchison Avenue where they arrested 47-year-old Wayne Lambert of San Francisco.  Lambert was caught shoplifting, a violation of California Penal Code 488.

Lambert was also arrested on a number of drug related violations including possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Lambert was booked into the San Mateo County Jail.
