6:02 p.m.: Deputies were dispatched to the 2o00 block of California Drive where a disturbance was reported.  They found a suspect who had been drinking.  Deputies took a report.

Wednesday, May 1, 2013

11:12 a.m.: A car was stolen in the 1100 block of El Camino Real.  Deputies opened an investigation.

5:36 p.m.: Deputies were dispatched to El Camino Real where they were looking for an injured person.  It turned out there was no injured person, however they did arrest 53-year-old transient John Adkins for making a false report of an emergency.

7:41 p.m.: Deputies opened an investigation into a vehicle burglary that occurred on the 200 block of el Camino Real.  There is no report on what was stolen.

7:45 p.m.: Officers arrested 27-year-old Randy Lew of Millbrae.  The arrest occurred on Willow Avenue.  Lew had outstanding warrants from Colma Police Department.

Friday, May 3, 2013    

12:03 a.m.: Deputies opened an investigation into a car burglary on the 200block of El Camino Real. 

3:09 p.m.: There was a traffic collision on the 400 block of Murchison.

Saturday, May 4, 2013

4:09 p.m.: Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Chadbourne Avenue where a burglary had occurred.  Deputies opened an investigation.

Sunday, May 5, 2013

1:56 a.m.: Deputies arrested 37-year-old Jose Mares of South San Francisco who was in possession of a controlled substance.

11:25 a.m.: Deputies opened an investigation into the theft of unlisted items from a car parked on Rollins Road.

5:41 p.m.: Deputies opened an investigation into the theft of items from a vehicle parked in the 1600 block of El Camino Real.

Editor’s Note:  Sometimes you might find items in the police log that seem humorous but please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
