Millbrae Police Log: Drunks, an Arrest, Vandalism and Burglary

February 21, 2013

10:56 a.m.: Deputies were dispatched to the 700 block of Riverton Drive where they began investigating a report of a missing person.  The person was located later in the day.

12:40 p.m.: Deputies opened an investigation into a burglary that occurred in the 900 block of Clearfield Drive.

6:21 p.m.: Deputies responded to a report of indecent exposure in the vicinity of Marcella and Murchison.  The exposer was gone but they were able to take a report.

February 23, 2013

3:02 a.m.: Officers arrested 27-year-old Semisi Apele of Hayward who had an outstanding arrest warrant issued in Alameda County.

5:22 p.m.: A car was burglarized in the 200 block of Cuardo Street.

7:14 p.m.: Police received a report of a disturbance in the 100 block of Broadway.  Deputies responding to the scene detained a drunk person.

February 24, 2013

7:17 p.m.: Police received a report of a disturbance on El Camino Real.  Upon arrival they found a drunk person.  Deputies opted to detain the drunk person.

8:24 p.m.: Officers cited a driver who was driving a car on a suspended drivers license.

11:07 p.m.: Officers went to the 1500 block of El Camino Real where a vandal had struck.  They took a report.

Editor’s Note:  Sometimes you might find items in the police log that seem humorous but please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
