12:45 p.m.:  Deputies were called to the 100 block of Alta Loma where vehicle was parked in a tow zone.  The deputies had the car towed.

Sunday, March 10, 2013

2:28 p.m.:  Deputies were dispatched to the 1200 block of El Camino Real where it was reported that shoplifters were stealing merchandize.  The shoplifters were gone when officers arrived.  They did open an investigation.

9:24 p.m.:  Deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of El Camino Real because if a report of a drunk person on the loose. 

Monday, March 11, 2013    

2:08 a.m.:  Deputies arrested 30-year-old Joseph Galu of San Francisco on a variety of drug related allegations including possession of a controlled substance while carrying a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, carrying a concealed weapon and being in possession of a loaded firearm.

March 14, 2013

3:27 p.m.: 22-year-old Jenae Bennett of Anitoch and 19-year-old Treshawn Soriano of San Leandro were arrested for allegedly (and unsuccessfully) resisting arrest.  Bennett was also allegedly driving with a suspended license.

Editor’s Note:  Sometimes you might find items in the police log that seem humorous but please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
