Man Arrested on Suspicion of 108 Counts of Child Molestation

South San Francisco Police on Wednesday arrested a man suspected of committing multiple cases of child molestation.

Leonardo Gonzalez, a plumber from South San Francisco, was taken into custody in the 800 block of Baden Avenue, according to police.

Police said he is a suspect in 108 counts of child molestation.

The arrest came after a month-long investigation that suggested Gonzalez had molested a child under 10 years old.

Investigators were informed of the alleged abuse after the young victim was given a routine test that showed signs of sexual abuse, police said.

Gonzalez was booked into the county jail in Redwood City, police said.
