Lucky Supermarket Suspected Thief to Stand Trial
Joseph Paul Funtanilla will stand in front of a jury on Sept. 6.
Joseph Paul Funtanilla, 43, will stand trial for allegedly stealing over $1,000 worth of liquor on June 13 from in Millbrae.
The San Leandro man took BART to Millbrae with an unidentified accomplice and stole 39 bottles of liquor, according to District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe.
The supermarket's security cameras identified Funtanilla as the thief.

He is currently in custody on $25,000 bail. A jury trial has been set for Sept. 6.
