Firefighter Injured Battling Millbrae Apartment Blaze

The fire was reported late Friday morning and damaged five apartments in Millbrae.

A firefighter was injured while battling a blaze in Millbrae Friday morning, a battalion chief said.

Fire crews responded to 360 Vallejo Drive at about 10:30 a.m. to  the report of spoke inside the building, Acting Battalion Chief Dave Cresta said.

The injured firefighter was treated at a hospital and has since been released, and no residents were injured. Five apartments were damaged in the blaze.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. A damage estimate has not been released.
