Child Porn-Hidden Bathroom Camera Case Going to Trial

A Millbrae landlord is accused of spying on his tenant, stealing her underwear and possessing child pornography.

After nearly four years, the case of the Millbrae landlord accused of hiding a video camera in his tenant's bathroom, and possessing child pornography, is finally going to trial.

Lon Joseph Baylor, 52, was investigated in June of 2009 after his tenant found footprints in her duplex. She found the hidden video camera in her bathroom, and four pairs of her underwear were found in Baylor's possession.

Police also found pornography depicting older men having sex with young girls on Baylor's computer.

The tenant lived in the duplex with her 13-year-old daughter. According to The Examiner, the child in the pornography is not the tenant's daughter.

A San Mateo District Attorney's Office report shows that Baylor claimed he started surveillance in the duplex because the tenant was behind on rent.

After several delays in court proceedings, a pretrial finally took place on Tuesday and a jury trial was set for Feb. 19 at 8:45 a.m.

Baylor had been represented by William DuBois, but he has since been replaced by a public defender. Baylor is free from custody on a $13,000 bail bond.
