Monday, June 27

5:18 p.m., 500 block of Magnolia Avenue: Police received a report of fraud and elder abuse. An unknown suspect accessed the caller’s bank account and withdrew money.

10:59 p.m., 1000 block of Springfield Drive: A resident called 911 upon hearing someone trying to enter through the front door to her house. When she looked out the window, she noticed three or four subject s standing in her driveway. She went downstairs and noticed a subject exiting through her back sliding window. A neighbor across the street was watching the subjects and has video footage. The woman’s rear sliding door had been pried open. No fingerprints were found on the sliding window.

6:34 a.m., Murchison Drive: A verbal argument occurred between a customer and staff regarding bad meat the customer bought.

9:34 a.m., 800 block of Broadway: A driver parking in the north Kohl's parking lot collided with the shopping cart corral, bending the frame. A security officer witnessed the collision and the motorist drove away without providing information. Police later caught up with the suspect and filed a collision report.
