Blotter: Antique Gun Stolen

Read Monday and Tuesday's police log.

Monday

10:37 a.m., Broadway: A resident got into a verbal argument with a taxi driver. The argument was over the taxi driver almost running into the resident in the Starbucks parking lot. Though the taxi driver left the area prior to police arrival, the resident wanted an officer to explain proper and safe driving, especially since the taxi driver drove into the lot the wrong way via the Broadway driveway.

12:13 p.m., 1400 block of Broadway: A professional soccer referee allowed two out-of-town refs to stay with him over Memorial Day weekend in conjunction with a soccer tournament. While at his residence, the man showed his guests his soccer coin collection. When his guests left a couple days later, several of his coins were missing. The suspects denied stealing the coins.
