SFO, MAYOR LEE, SUPERVISORS: YOUR NOISE "ABATEMENT" DEPARTMENT AND DISCUSSION GROUPS ARE A JOKE! HOW MUCH WORSE COULD IT GET? IT IS NOISY ALL NIGHT LONG! MILLBRAE NEEDS TO LOWER PROPERTY TAXES! SFO IS RUINING PROPERTY VALUES!

It has become increasingly clear that anything to do with SFO and noise abatement, is nothing but a JOKE! They removed trees that were somewhat a sound barrier, and replaced them with what? NOTHING! I keep hearing that I should attend city meetings, round table discussions, and on and on to give my opinion about SFO's NOISE! Well, will someone please tell me why we vote in representatives, if we have the burden of doing their work FOR them? Are they so insensate, that they cannot tell for themselves what needs to be done? Are we voting in MORONS? OR do they get a "little something" on the side to pay lip service to us? What is ever accomplished when these noise discussions have been held? What do they talk about? Who does anything about their findings? They basically tell us that SFO is a model airport, and that the noise is "all in our heads!" YES, it IS in our heads, our hearts, our rattling dishes, and much more! Studies have shown that living near an airport can cause health issues, one being higher incidence of heart attacks! Who cares? Certainly not SFO! Oh, but they are too important to restrict! So, the lives of human beings are supposed to AGAIN, take a back seat to another greedy corporation? The airport takes on more and more planes, AT OUR EXPENSE!  They fly at all hours, sitting there on a no sound barrier protected runway, revving up their engines, getting ready for take off! Some planes even have an added weird, almost horn sounding noise as an extra torture bonus! They are a BUSINESS! If I ran a business that blared high decibel noises all night long, the Sheriff's Dept. would be on me in an instant! (well, maybe an hour, since we no longer can afford our own police, and the Sheriffs have to come from San Mateo!). So, as I told Supervisor Pine in an email (I have not heard back) it is no mystery as to what needs to be done about SFO NOISE POLLUTION: PUT UP SOUND BARRIERS, STOP FLYING AT ALL HOURS, GO OVER THE WATER, NOT OUR HOMES! JUST SAY NO TO MORE AND MORE PLANES WANTING TO USE THE AIRPORT! LIFE IS FULL OF RESTRICTIONS! START MAKING SOME THAT HELP PEOPLE FOR ONCE! STOP TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE! RESIDENTS WILL EITHER GO INSANE, OR DROP DEAD FROM THE NOISE AND PLANE EXHAUST POLLUTION! We have to comply with noise laws, pollution laws, and other laws, WHY DON'T ANY OF THOSE LAWS APPLY TO SFO?  Corporations pay fines for polluting, what about SFO, FOR NOISE POLLUTION, AND THE OBVIOUS POLLUTION FROM THE PLANE EXHAUST? For those masochistic, midget minds who say we should put up with the noise because we "live in an airport city" I say SCREW YOU! The number of planes and the sound volume and the hours of operation, have increased more and more, each year! Six years ago, when I came to live in my family's house, they owned since the beginning of 1940, the airport noise was not such an issue! It certainly was not an issue when the airport opened! Who could have foreseen the number of planes using the airport, the late hours of operation, noisy jet planes, and a sheer lack of concern for the welfare of human beings, in favor of the buck? When did human life become so expendable? SFO is in the business of serving people, JUST NOT THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE MISFORTUNE OF LIVING NEAR THEM! If I were a conspiracy theorist, I would say SFO is trying to run us out! They'd LOVE to expand across the freeway and have a nice little airport annex that used to be known as The City of Millbrae! Heck, why not just make all of the Bay Area, one GIANT airport? UNTIL WE TELL SFO, "NO", THEY WILL CONTINUE TO ENCROACH ON OUR LIVES, STOMP US INTO DUST AND GO ON, WITH NO REGRETS! DON'T LET IT HAPPEN, TELL THEM ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
