you Millbrae is holding their first Plan Millbrae workshop talking about updating the plan by the BART sites. If you are dissatisfied about the way the planning commission handled the Tai Wu parking situation when approving their business permit, I suggest we make your voices heard at Thursday's meeting.
Current ideas floating around include a hotel, which I believe is wrong use of the land by BART. We need to build a EXPO center to fully utilize SFO Airport/Caltrain/BART to start packing our existing hotels and support their business or we need large retail to bolster the city's treasury with additional sales tax revenue. You can't create hotel demand out of thin air.
