Millbrae Deserves Much Better Than Our Current City Manager!

The City Manager can make multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars in salary (even though she has been looking for city manager jobs in other cities) but she refuses to spend a few dollars for speed bumps on Millbrae Avenue to keep residents safe from the speeding cars who travel through our city to reach Hwy 101, Bart, and of course, the constant stream of limos, are rushing to the airport for their fares. Those reckless speeders use our city as a convenient way to somewhere else. They have no respect, because they don't live here. Decent people would respect the neighborhoods filled with children, pets, and families in any city they were in; but for some reason these people racing to and from work, won't give respect to a place they only use as a shortcut (to work). Marcia Raines looks for jobs as City Manager in other cities, but has been unsuccessful in getting out of Millbrae. I guess her heart is as dedicated to this city, about as much as those reckless drivers who only use our city as a shortcut to elsewhere! I hope the speeding cars won't kill any more people, and I sincerely hope Ms. Raines has her wish fulfilled, and finds a city manager job in a place where they can afford a big salary, and get nothing in return. All I know is that Millbrae deserves much better!
