Mayor Says We Need To "Fund A Study Parking Study" For Tai Wu

May 10, Wayne Lee took to the streets in an orange vest to encourage folks to use the "designated" parking spots and not park in Bayside Manor.

Might be too little too late in my opinion.

The Planning Commission knew since an agenda dated in late 2011 that Tai Wu had parking requirements of nearly 200 spots, but had only identified half of that approximately.

So Mr. Mayor, why do we need to fund a parking study for something we already know? We already know there isn't enough parking. Probably another consultant will get handed your tax dollars for another useless study.

Financially Sustainable Millbrae is a website city council put up to highlight actions taken to stabilize the budget and be financially responsible. This site has not been updated in a considerable amount of time.

It's great right after the new fire assessment passes for another 10 years of burden that we can continue to find creative ways to waste money about obvious problems.

I'm sorry Wayne. The folks on Hemlock and Bayside Manor aren't buying it. As any indicator by the growing discontent from the crowd at the Plan Millbrae event I attended, there are a lot of folks in Millbrae who frankly see "past the bs".

The only way to "damage control" this a complete changing of the guard in our city government.
