Drivers in Millbrae

Why do people think it is legal to make U Turns in the middle of Broadway so they can get a parking space on the other side?  Are they really that lazy they can't walk a few extra steps?  Also SMC Sheriffs please patrol the area of Ashton and Hillcrest in the early morning hours you will see how many people run that stop sign.  I walk in the early hours between 5 and 6 a.m. and have had several close calls in that crosswalk cars who don't even attempt to slow down.  Come on City of  Millbrae and the Sheriff's Office lets get a handle on the drivers not paying attention, talking on cell phones, running stop signs, turning left out of the post office , making illegal u turns in the middle of Broadway and not stopping for pedestrians - lets start passing out some tickets so this will stop.
