(The following obituary was sent to Patch by a family member.)

Cyndy Razovich Claus, of Sebastopol, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in her sleep Monday, Dec. 9, 2013. Cyndy was a sweet, kind, funny, giving woman with a huge heart and loving spirit.

Cyndy and her sisters were raised in Millbrae, and she attended Green Hills Elementary, Taylor Intermediate and Capuchino High Schools, graduating from Capuchino in 1966.

Cyndy lived in Sonoma County for the last 35 years, loving every moment of country living.   Early on she was active in the horse community with her then-husband, who was a local trainer. During those years she also trained dogs for field trials, kept bees for honey and chickens for eggs.

Later she developed an interest in spinning and weaving, and kept Angora goats for wool.

More recently, she was an active supporter of West Sonoma County Sports, attending games and practices, cheering everybody on, working in the snack shack, and taking photographs of the players.

She loved children, music and photography, animals of all kinds, cooking, spinning and weaving, fiber arts, sewing and crafts of all kinds.  She loved making people smile and was always ready to lend a hand. She will be missed by her family - sisters, Pam Foss, Liz Razovich (April Lockner), of Millbrae, and by her many friends whom she loved so much.

A memorial /celebration of Cyndy’s life will be held in the spring , to give us time to heal and to provide distance from the holidays, Cyndy’s favorite time of year.  Details will be posted on Cyndy’s and her sisters’ Facebook pages when confirmed, or you can contact Liz Razovich at lizrazovich@gmail.com
