Memorial Day is a federal holiday. While not everyone has the day off work, many local business are closed today in honor of Americans who have died in all wars.
The following are CLOSED today:
- Schools in the Millbrae School District.
- Schools in the San Mateo Union High School District.
- The Millbrae Library.
- The Millbrae Post Office. No mail delivery.
- The and other city offices.
- Banks.
The following are OPEN today:
- Restaurants
- Grocery Stores
- Other businesses such as shops, hair salons, doctor's offices and other services are open at the owner’s discretion.
Transportation:
- Caltrain will run on a Sunday schedule.
- BART will run on a Sunday schedule.
- SamTrans will run on a Sunday schedule.
