Turning Garbage Into Gold

A free composting workshop will be offered tonight at the library.

If you've ever wanted to compost, but feared the smell, or the flies you might attract, tonight's your night for a little easy - and free - education.

Two City of Millbrae programs - Recycling & Waste Prevention, and Water Resources and Conservation - and the county's Recycleworks program will teach you the basics of composting for your backyard, and likely save you a lot of money in the process.
