Sawyer Camp Trail Scheduled for Two-Day Closure
Sawyer Camp Trail will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday to prepare for rainy season and new access road.
Sawyer Camp Trail is slated for closure Wednesday and Thursday to complete the previously delayed winter season preparation and new access road construction, according to the Hetch Hetchy Regional Water System's website.
so work crews could prepare for the rainy season and begin work on a new access road that will run parallel to the Crystal Springs/San Andreas Pipeline to enable repairs without driving on the Sawyer Camp Trail.
The trail is expected to reopen at sunrise on Friday, Oct. 21.
