Li, who was on the Raiders staff last season as a defensive assistant, will take on more advanced statistical analytics in his new role. He will be responsible for managing databases and developing research reports for coaches and management, the Raiders website reports.
Li graduated from UC Riverside with a degree in business administration in 2003. His experience includes five years as a lead researcher for the NFL Network and a year as an ESPN researcher.
